SearchActions is a marketing agency. We also run software and applications such as Callytics, a call-analytics dashboard we provide to our clients. This page explains what information we collect, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us about it. “We” and “us” mean SearchActions. “You” means a visitor to this website or a client who uses our services or dashboard.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill in a form, email us or call us, we receive what you share: usually your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
- Client account information. When you become a client, we keep the contact and billing details needed to work with you, and the account you use to sign in to your dashboard.
- Information from accounts you connect. When you give us access to a service such as Google Business Profile, we receive the data that access allows. The Google section below covers this in detail.
- Website usage. Like most websites, this one uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, measure visits and remember form submissions. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies.
Google Business Profile data
Some clients sign in with a Google account and allow us to access the Google Business Profile listings that account manages. On Google’s sign-in screen, this connection appears as “GBP Publisher”. With that permission, we read profile information for each listing: the business name, address, phone number, website, categories, opening hours and other facts shown on the profile.
We use this data for one purpose: to show it to that client in their dashboard, next to their call data, and to deliver the marketing services they hired us for. Our team views it only to do that work, to fix a problem the client reports, for security, or when the law requires it.
We do not:
- sell Google user data, or give it to advertising platforms, data brokers or resellers;
- use it to serve ads, including retargeted, personalized or interest-based ads;
- use it to decide anyone’s creditworthiness or for lending;
- use it to train or improve general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
- share it with anyone except the service providers who host our systems, and only so they can run them for us.
SearchActions’ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove our access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Once you do, we can no longer read your profile data.
How we use information
- to answer your questions and send you what you asked for;
- to deliver our services and run the client dashboard;
- to send invoices and keep business records;
- to keep our website and systems secure and working;
- to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
We use outside companies to host our website and systems, send email and manage client contacts. They handle information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would still apply to the information transferred. Google user data would move in a merger or sale only with your explicit consent first.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services or to meet legal and accounting obligations. Google Business Profile data and the access we were granted are kept only while you use our services. When you stop working with us, or when you ask, we delete the Google data we hold about your business and the access that lets us read it.
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. We will reply and confirm once it is done.
Security
We limit access to client data to the people and systems that need it, and we use encrypted connections to move it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed, but we work to protect it and will tell affected clients if something goes wrong.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use client data, we will tell our clients directly.
